And so the overseers of the works and the taskmasters went out and said to the people: "Thus says Pharaoh: I give you no chaff

So the taskmasters and the foremen of the people went out and said to the people, "Thus says Pharaoh, 'I will not give you straw.

Then the slave drivers and the foremen went out and said to the people, "This is what Pharaoh says: 'I will not give you any more straw.
