Genesis 5

The passage describes the lineage of Adam, listing the descendants from Adam to Noah, including their ages at the time of the birth of their sons and the total number of years they lived. Each descendant is mentioned along with the years they lived after the birth of their son, and the total years of their life. Enoch is noted for walking with God and being taken by God without dying. The passage concludes with Lamech's son Noah, who is born when Lamech is 182 years old, and Noah's sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth are born when Noah is 500 years old.

And after he conceived Methuselah, he lived for three hundred years, and he conceived sons and daughters23And all the days of Enoch that passed were three hundred and sixty-five years24And he walked with God, and then he was seen no more, because God took him25Likewise, Methuselah lived for one hundred and eighty-seven years, and then he conceived Lamech26And after he conceived Lamech, Methuselah lived for seven hundred and eighty-two years, and he conceived sons and daughters27And all the days of Methuselah that passed were nine hundred and sixty-nine years, and then he died28Then Lamech lived for one hundred and eighty-two years, and he conceived a son29And he called his name Noah, saying, "This one will console us from the works and hardships of our hands, in the land that the Lord has cursed.30And after he conceived Noah, Lamech lived for five hundred and ninety-five years, and he conceived sons and daughters31And all the days of Lamech that passed were seven hundred and seventy-seven years, and then he died.32In truth, when Noah was five hundred years old, he conceived Shem, Ham, and Japheth
