Jeremiah 6:17

And I appointed watchers over you, saying: ‘Listen for the sound of the trumpet.’ And they said: ‘We will not listen.

I appointed watchmen over you and said, 'Listen to the sound of the trumpet!' But you said, 'We will not listen.'
