And behold, rising up at first light, they climbed to the top of the mountain, and they said, "We are prepared to ascend to the place, about which the Lord has spoken, for we have sinned.

And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD hath promised: for we have sinned.

English Standard Version

And they rose early in the morning and went up to the heights of the hill country, saying, "Here we are. We will go up to the place that the LORD has promised, for we have sinned."

New International Version

Early the next morning they went up toward the high hill country. "We have sinned," they said. "We will go up to the place the LORD promised."
