2 John

The writer greets the Elect Lady and her children, expressing joy that some of her sons are walking in the truth as commanded by the Father. He reminds her of the importance of loving one another and warns against deceivers who do not confess Jesus Christ as having come in the flesh. The writer advises her to be cautious and not receive anyone who does not bring the doctrine of Christ, and instead looks forward to speaking with her in person to bring her full joy.
