Habakkuk

Habakkuk questions God about the prevalence of violence and injustice, prompting God to announce the rise of the Chaldeans to punish Judah for its sins. The prophet then questions God's justice, leading to a divine response that the faithful will live by their faith and the unfaithful will be punished in a future time. Ultimately, Habakkuk comes to fear and awe God's power and mercy, finding joy and strength in the Lord despite the coming destruction.
