Jude
Jude writes to believers, warning them about certain men who have infiltrated the church and are perverting God's grace, and denying Jesus Christ. He uses past examples of God's destruction, such as the Israelites in the wilderness and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, to caution them against disobedience. Jude also warns against false teachers who blaspheme and corrupt others, and encourages believers to build themselves up in their faith and keep themselves in God's love.
Chapter 1
Jude writes to believers, urging them to contend for the faith as certain men have infiltrated the church, perverting God's grace into self-indulgence and denying Jesus Christ. He cautions them by referencing the destruction of those who disobeyed God in the past, including the Israelites in the wilderness, the angels who rebelled, and the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Jude also warns against false teachers who blaspheme and corrupt others, and instead encourages believers to build themselves up in their faith, pray in the Holy Spirit, and keep themselves in God's love.
