And they drew near to the town where they were going. And he conducted himself so as to go on further

And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.

So they drew near to the village to which they were going. He acted as if he were going farther,

As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus acted as if he were going farther.
