For wrath is in his indignation, and life is in his will. Toward evening, weeping will linger, and toward morning, gladness

For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.

For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.

For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may remain for a night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
