Unto the end. A Psalm of David himself. Blessed is he who shows understanding toward the needy and the poor. The Lord will deliver him in the evil day

Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.

Blessed is the one who considers the poor! In the day of trouble the LORD delivers him;
